Brownwood Preparatory Academy is a beautiful school located in a town right outside of Orlando, called Westvale. Brownwood Prep is a boarding school for students in grades 9-12. The cobblestone walkways are lined with flowers, and there is a rather large campus with tennis courts, a track, a football field - almost everything imaginable. It is a huge brick building with four floors - at least, four known floors.
It has a fifth floor, a rather special floor. Nobody knows about it besides the faculty and staff, and, of course, the supernatural ones. Brownwood Prep was originally designed as a school for magical creatures - witches, wizards, vampires, shapeshifters, werewolves, and hybrids. But then they started accepting normal humans into the school. The supernatural students called them 'normals'. Then the 'supernaturals' complained that they didn't have a place to use their powers freely, and that they were sick of keeping it a secret. They wanted a place where they could just be themselves without fear of being judged - or killed.
There was only one problem: the mortals couldn't know about the supernatural. So the school used their fifth floor, which used to just be the unused attic, and transformed it into the place the students had been wanting. It was all going well - it had been more than a decade - until those four girls found out. The security has been maximized since then, but now everyone is busy trying to convice people to keep the secret, well, a secret.
So this is why people are stressed all of the time, and why some people seem so distant and secretive. This is why one day, she might be your friend, but the next day, she's nowhere to be found. And why he's always disappearing. Sadly, the mere human beings don't know anything about this. And we're all determined to keep it that way.

Well, the forum is now fully up and running. We are always accepting new members, so guests - check things out and join! The advertising board is located in the OOC board, so guests can also advertise. We are in need of both boys and canons - especially canons. It would be great for anyone to apply for a canon. floor five This is it, the fifth floor. What you see when you walk too far up the stairs is a sign that reads "do not enter, authorized personnel only". It's usually locked...but sometimes they make a mistake. And sometimes, people find other ways to get in. Nobody's supposed to know about it, but every once in a while, something slips out.

the beach Since Brownwood Prep is located in southern Florida, there is a beach not too far away. It's about 15 minutes away, and some people can even walk or bike there.

mall This is the mall, home of about a zillion stores. It's a popular hangout, especially for the boarding school kids.

park This is the park, a quiet and peaceful place. At least, most of the time. There's an area for little kids, with a swingset and a slide. There's a pathway around a little lake, and there are also tennis courts and a picnic area.

starbucks Starbucks is quickly becoming an extremely popular store, so it's only fit that the town should have one. It used to be a place for adults to drink coffee, but now it's a teen hangout. Even some younger children, middle schoolers, hang out here.
